In addition to his investment activities, Dimitri currently serves as the CEO of Avature, enterprise SaaS platform for talent acquisition and talent management. Avature empowers the leading-edge HR strategies of over 650 enterprise-level customers, including 110 of the Fortune 500 and 28 of the Forbes Global 100, in more than 164 countries and 30 languages.
Prior to founding Avature in 2004, Dimitri co-founded HotJobs.com in 1997. As Chief Operating Officer and later CEO, Dimitri’s responsibilities at HotJobs.com included the direct management of all of its business activities. Dimitri took HotJobs.com public on the NASDAQ (HOTJ) in 1999 and grew the company to over 100M in revenue before it was acquired by Yahoo
From 2002 to 2009, Dimitri served on the Board of Directors of Zhaopin.com. Headquartered in Beijing, Zhaopin (ZPIN/SEEK) is the second largest employment website in China.
Dimitri has appeared on CNNfn, CNN, Fox News, The Fox News’ Cavuto Report, and CNBC Power Lunch, and has been featured in Business Week, The New York Daily News, Investor’s Business Daily, and other print publications.
Dimitri is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he obtained a BA in biophysics, and carried out post-graduate research at the University of Illinois.
Julian Boylan Managing Partner
Julian has 15 years of experience in HCM and over 25 years in technology. In addition to his role as Managing Director at Ventropy, Julian holds the position of SVP, Global Markets at Avature, where he has traveled the world establishing the organization’s global presence, most recently setting up Avature’s China operations. Prior to Avature, he was CTO of a New York City-based investment trust. Julian holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the City University of New York.
